Taber Type Abrasion Tester Speed Setting Method
Taber Type Abrasion Tester has two types: 1700 single grinding wheel wear tester and 1750 double grinding wheel wear tester. The test speed can be selected as 60 or 72 rpm. The selected speed is used as the default value for each test until the speed is reset. The speed will be displayed on the display.

Our R&D technical engineer said that when the test machine needs to change the speed, the instrument must be in a stopped state (the display screen must show Stopped in the running state or ground state).
Press MENU to display the menu selection (see the menu in the figure below);
Press 1 in the menu selection to select change speed;
Use the numeric keys to select "1" for 60 rpm and "2" for 72 rpm. The asterisk (*) indicates the current default speed.
Press START to start the test.
The speed of the test machine is in revolutions per minute, and one revolution represents one revolution of the turntable (the factory default speed is 60 rpm).
