Test Procedures

Install the test specimen in the test cup at a 15° angle.

Adjust the leveling device to ensure the instrument is perfectly horizontal.

Set the desired spray volume (100–300 mL/min) and rotation speed.

Start the rotation of the test cup and cross scraper.

Activate the spray system; the water passes through the textile to measure repellency.

After the test duration, the instrument automatically stops and triggers an alert.

Record the water penetration results and assess fabric repellency according to the standard.
