The test bench is mainly used to test the differential pressure-flow characteristics, filter element bypass valve characteristics, pressure drop resistance, initial efficiency, and clogging life of oil filters.

The test bench system mainly consists of a variable speed oil pump unit, pressure sensor, flow meter, control valve, return valve, bypass valve, differential pressure sensor, and related accessories.

Application

This test bench is designed for comprehensive evaluation of engine oil filters, including spin-on filters and filter bypass valves. It is suitable for:

Notes:

Sections 6.2, 6.3, and 6.7 use CC30 diesel engine oil (temperature controlled below 100°C).

Section 6.6 uses 0# diesel or -10# light diesel at room temperature.

Test Procedures
