Ironing / Sublimation Colorfastness Tester

The G247 Ironing / Sublimation Colorfastness Tester is designed to evaluate the dimensional stability and colorfastness of fabrics under heat press and dry-heat treatment. It can also test the sublimation fastness of fabrics. Samples are placed between independently controlled upper and lower heating plates, with adjustable plate spacing and sample weight. The device provides precise temperature control (120–230°C) and includes a timed alarm for accurate test duration.
Application
This tester is suitable for:
(1) Assessing heat and dry-heat colorfastness of textiles;
(2) Testing fabric dimensional stability under thermal treatment;
(3) Evaluating sublimation fastness of disperse-dyed fabrics;
(4) Chlorine damage testing on resin-treated fabrics;
(5) Yellowing assessment of bleached fabrics;
(6) Water/steam fastness tests for reactive dyes;
(7) Laboratory quality control, textile research, and R&D applications.
Standards
The instrument complies with the following international and national standards:
(1) ISO 105 X11 – Textiles. Colorfastness to Ironing;
(2) ISO P01 – Test methods for dry heat colorfastness;
(3) BS 1006 – British Standard for colorfastness to ironing;
(4) AATCC 92, 114, 117, 133 – American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists standards for ironing and sublimation fastness;
(5) GB/T 5718, 6152 – Chinese national standards for ironing and sublimation colorfastness;
(6) DIN 54022, 54060 – German standards for colorfastness to heat;
(7) JIS L0879, L0850 – Japanese standards for ironing and sublimation colorfastness.
