Fabric tensile testing machine is an instrument used to measure the tensile properties of fabrics, which can test parameters such as breaking strength, elongation at break and elastic recovery of fabrics.

When operating the fabric tensile testing machine, the following points should be noted:
1. Select suitable fixture and sensor according to the type and specification of the fabric to ensure firm clamping and accurate measurement of the specimen. Fixtures and sensors should be checked and calibrated regularly to avoid damage or errors.
2. Adjust the test speed and pre-tension, set reasonable test speed and pre-tension according to different test standards and requirements. The test speed should be kept constant and the pre-tension should subject the specimen to proper pre-stretching to eliminate slack or wrinkles.
3. Measure and input the specimen size. Measure the length and width of the specimen with tape measure or vernier caliper and input into the instrument or computer. The specimen dimensions should be accurate to affect the calculation results.
4. Clamp and zero the specimen, hold the specimen flatly in the upper and lower clamps, keep vertical alignment, and then press the zero key to zero the force and displacement. Avoid applying excessive external force or distortion to the specimen when clamping.
5. Start and observe the test, press the start button to start the test, observe the force value, displacement, curve and other data displayed on the instrument or computer. If abnormal conditions are found, press the stop button immediately to terminate the test and check the cause.
6. Take off and record the result. After the specimen breaks, release the fixture, take off the specimen, and record the result shown on the instrument or computer. The results should include parameters such as breaking strength, elongation at break, elastic recovery rate, etc., and compare and analyze with the standard or design values.
