International Textile News: Vietnam exported 108,500 tons of yarn in February
According to the latest statistics, in February 2023, Vietnam’s export of textile and clothing reached US$2.294 billion, an increase of 1.94% month-on-month and an increase of 11.48% year-on-year; the export of yarn was 108,500 tons, an increase of 23.07% month-on-month and a decrease of 18.07% year-on-year; imported yarn was 7.92% 10,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 30.70%, a year-on-year decrease
1.71%; imported fabrics were US$776 million, a decrease of 17.09% month-on-month and a year-on-year decrease of 17.72%.
From January to February 2022, Vietnam exported US$4.545 billion in textile and clothing, a year-on-year decrease of 19.27%; exported yarns of 196,600 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 28.92%; imported yarns of 139,900 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 19.61%; imported fabrics of US$1.712 billion, a year-on-year decrease of A drop of 26.69%.
