6 replacement steps:

1. Stand on a stool or ladder, open the door of the light box on the top of the device, loosen the thumb nut connector and take off the wire: as shown in the figure

2. Hold the handle on the lamp holder and carefully pull it vertically and slowly (do not rotate), the lamp tube will be brought out by the lamp holder. If the lamp tube is not brought out together with the lamp holder, take out the lamp holder first, then stretch your hand down, pinch the ceramic body on the lamp tube and pull the lamp tube up vertically (do not rotate).

3. After taking out the lamp holder, pinch the ceramic head with your hands to remove the old lamp, and then replace it with a new lamp. Please use the gloves attached to the lamp to keep it clean. If it touches the skin or Please use the alcohol sheet attached to the lamp to wipe off the dirt.

4. Open the hatch and take out several sample holders. Insert the light tube into the light tube. When the lamp tube passes through the center of the lamp tube and reaches the lower position, insert the trigger electrode into the lamp tube, and slowly insert the lamp tube into the lower lamp holder. You will feel a little resistance. If you feel a lot of resistance, it may be that the contact rod of the lamp tube and the connection head of the lower lamp holder are not aligned, or the lamp holder is not aligned with the lamp tube.

5. For the correctly installed lamp tube, there is no gap between the lamp holder and the top of the lamp tube.

6. Finally, screw on the trigger electrode, install the sample holder, turn it on and calibrate it with the irradiance calibrator, then it can be used normally.

Precautions:

When replacing the UV aging test chamber lamp tube, pay attention that the lamp tube just shut down is very hot. After pressing the STOP button, let the fan cool the lamp tube for about 15 minutes before turning it off and pressing the power button.
