Internal Shoe Size Measuring Device
The Internal Shoe Size Measuring Device is a manual instrument designed to measure the internal length and corresponding shoe size of finished footwear. It features a flat steel measuring bar, a graduated scale, a sliding cursor, and a movable heel-contact rod for positioning and reading the measurement.
To measure a shoe, insert the flat steel bar into the shoe and slide it forward until it reaches the toe. Move the cursor along the scale until the heel-contact rod touches the heel. Adjust the instrument vertically and position the rod at the point of maximum heel curvature to determine the maximum internal length. The corresponding shoe size can then be read directly from the scale.
