Peru makes affirmative final ruling on anti-dumping of Chinese polyester fiber fabrics
On 6 February 2023, the Committee on Dumping, Subsidies and Non-Tariff Barriers to Trade of the Peruvian National Institute for the Protection of Competition and Intellectual Property published in the official daily ElPeruano Bulletin No. 006-2023/CDB-INDECOPI that it had issued a final affirmative anti-dumping decision on 100% polyester fabric originating from China, deciding to impose an anti-dumping duty on the product in question of The anti-dumping duty of USD 3.55/kg was imposed on the product in question. The products in question are 100% plain polyester fabrics with a width of less than 1.8 metres, with a unit weight between 80 g/m2 and 200 g/m2, containing more than or equal to 85% by weight of polyester staple fibres, dyed in natural colours, white or monochrome, and involving products under Peruvian tariff codes 5512.11.00.00 and 5512.19.00.00. The measures are effective from the day following the publication of the announcement and will be valid for five years.

On 25 August 2022, Peru issued a decision in the case. On 25 August, Peru made an affirmative preliminary ruling on the case, preliminarily ruling that a provisional anti-dumping duty of US$3.93/kg was imposed on the product in question, valid for six months.
