Real-time broadcast: The Ministry of Innovation and Development of Uzbekistan held talks with the Swiss Better Cotton Development Association

The official website of the Uzbekistan Ministry of Innovation and Development reported on November 15 that Uzbekistan Minister of Innovation and Development Abdullah Khmanov met with the head of the Swiss Better Cotton Development Association on the same day to discuss relevant cooperation matters.

The Uzbekistan side introduced the work carried out by the Cotton Planting Committee directly under the President this year, and pointed out that Uzbekistan is increasing production and income for the cotton industry by improving irrigation and fertilization techniques, strengthening pest control, and improving raw cotton processing capacity.

The person in charge of the Swiss Better Cotton Development Association expressed his willingness to help Ukrainian cotton clusters introduce international standards and make planting suggestions for Ukrainian farmers and cotton clusters. The two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in the field of cotton and organize seminars for cotton farmers and experts at an optional date.
