2022 January to September China's textile and apparel exports rose 9.1% year-on-year

Among the ASEAN member countries, China's exports of textiles and clothing to Vietnam 12.06 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 32.7%, up 4.0%; during the same period, the textile industry exports to Malaysia, Thailand and Myanmar have achieved more than 40% growth. 1 to August, China's exports of textiles and clothing to the EU 34.04 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 13.2%. Among them, exports to Italy and Spain grew at a rate of about 25%. In addition, exports of textiles and clothing to Japan 12.96 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 1.3%. This year, the "Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement" (RCEP) has officially entered into force since its implementation, member countries to actively implement the joint promotion of steady growth in intra-regional trade. 1 ~ August, textile exports to RCEP member countries $ 62.15 billion in textiles and clothing, an increase of 15.7%. At the same time, the first eight months of this year, the textile industry to the "Belt and Road" along the countries exported 83.53 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 18.3%.
