Perspiration Tester

The Perspiration Tester is widely used in determining the color fastness of textiles to perspiration, sea water, saliva and distilled water. The colored textile specimen combined together with the prescribed lining fabric is wet out in a simulated acid perspiration solution or others. After the wetting processed, the specimen combination is extruded to remove the excess fluid and sandwiched between the sample board, applied with specified pressure for a certain period of time. Then dry the specimen and the lining fabric seperately and observe the color change.
The stainless steel frame can hold 20 samples held between acrylic separator plates.Loading weights for AATCC, ISO and BS standards are included.Use It is equipped with a sweat color fastness oven and a chemical reagent kit for AATCC and ISO perspiration test, including 500g Sodium Chloride, 500g Sodium Dihydrogen Orthophosphate 2H2O, 500g Di-Sodium Hydrogen Orthophosphate 2H2O, 200g L-Histidine Monohydrochloride.

FAQ
(1) What types of textiles can be tested with a Perspiration Tester?
The tester can be used for various dyed, printed and finished textile materials. The specimen is tested together with the prescribed lining fabric under the conditions required by the selected standard. The appropriate specimen preparation, test solution and evaluation method should be determined according to standards such as ISO 105-E04, AATCC 15 or GB/T 5713.
(2) How many specimens can the stainless steel frame hold?
The stainless steel frame has a capacity of 20 samples, with each sample specified as 10 cm × 4 cm in the supplied information. Acrylic separator plates are placed between the specimens during loading. The supplied configuration includes 21 acrylic plates, allowing the samples to be arranged as a complete test stack.
(3) Why are different loading weights supplied?
Different textile colorfastness standards may specify different loading conditions. The tester therefore provides different loading weights for applicable standards, helping the operator select the appropriate load rather than using one fixed weight for every procedure. The correct loading weight should always be confirmed against the specific test method being performed.
(4) Can this tester be used for tests other than perspiration?
Yes. The supplied applications include colorfastness testing to sea water, saliva and distilled water in addition to perspiration. The required solution, specimen preparation, pressure and evaluation procedure depend on the selected standard. Laboratories should configure the test according to the exact method required for their material or customer specification.
(5) What should I confirm before purchasing the tester?
First confirm the standards your laboratory needs to perform, then determine the required loading weights, acrylic plates, test solutions and related equipment. QINSUN instruments are calibrated and tested before shipment to help ensure accurate operation.
